  • It crashed on me
    If you experience a crash contact support@movieflickapp.com -- So far we have been able to resolve 100% of reported problems
  • I made a change and the web page still doesn't show the change!
    The way MovieFlick works uses a slightly different API then the NetFlix web page -- It can take up to 15 minutes for changes to be reflected. Don't worrry, they are there.
  • I rated a movie and it's not showing up!
    It can take up for 15 minutes for NetFlix to finish processing a rating request -- It acts differently from the web page where the changes happen right away but rest assured the rating occured.
  • Why do the YouTube trailers sometimes not match up?
    YouTube matches are performed by performaing a YouTube search. Usually this returns a proper trailer but occasionally if a YouTube video is miss tagged this will fail.
  • Why do the actor pages sometimes have the wrong image (Also, why is it often racy?)
    The images for the movie box covers come from netflix but there is no service to automatically connect actor names with pictures. A internet search is performed to try to make that connection and for the most part it works well but occasionally the wrong picture will come up.

    Sometime the pictures are a bit racy and they occasionally contain partial or full nudity. I do my best to filter those but it's impossible to avoid this 100%. If you find this objectionable you can turn off actor view by going to the MovieFlick settings that are found in the system wide settings application (it's not in the MovieFlick app -- It's where you control other iPhone settings such as mail accounts, etc.)
